The Hecht Sustainable Protein Research Center aims to be a global leader in the field of sustainable protein research. In order to ensure that researchers conducting relevant research at the Technion enjoy the best possible conditions for meeting the many challenges they face, HSPRC is investing in the acquisition and maintenance of top-of-the-line equipment that is particularly useful in this field.

To date, HSPRC has acquired the following pieces of research equipment:

Twin screw extruder (FT36L, Jinan Arrow Machinery, China) with mixer, shaping, and core filling machine customized for the production of texturized vegetable proteins or cereals.

Drying oven (240 L, forced air, DFO 240, MRC)

Fast N/Protein Analyzer (Rapid N Exceed system, Elementar, Germany) with patented Regainer technology for outstanding sample throughput
