The Carasso FoodTech Innovation Center

The Technion recently inaugurated the Carasso FoodTech Innovation Center – a leading FoodTech and BioTech hub aimed at facilitating research and education for technologies promoting sustainability and health. The Carasso Center provides advanced processing, analytical, sensory and educational facilities for academic, industrial and entrepreneurial sectors, to allow testing and accelerating the development of their innovative ideas. Overall, the Center offers the knowledge, facilities and infrastructure needed to develop healthy, tasty, and nutritious food solutions for a growing global population.
The Hecht Sustainable Protein Research Center has been highly constructive in helping to raise a significant part of the required donations needed to complete the construction of the Carasso FoodTech Innovation Center.
